Making Kid’s Birthday Feel Special With No Party

Our children are the centers of our universes. Surely nothing can feel worse that disappointing them come their birthdays when everyone is practicing social distancing. But there are lots of things we can do to brighten their spirits on their special days.

My Cardboard Darth Vader Costume

Just today I was asked to dress as Lego Darth Vader, a costume I made of cardboard years ago, to deliver a fun video message to a young boy whose birthday was coming with no party.

There are indeed things we can do to make our children feel special even when they cannot celebrate with their friends.
